Olivia Chin

Olivia Chin has multiple myeloma and amyloidosis and is under the care of Dr. Tomer Mark and Dr. Ray Comenzo. She was an avionics software engineer and manager for over twenty-three years. She enjoyed working on simulators, trainers, and radars. She is now at home with her husband, two children, and a rascally dog in Upstate New York. She is also a balloon artist, and enjoys creating innovative decor with balloons. She enjoys reading, cooking, swimming, and travel.

After completing fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Ruben Niesvizky, Dr. Tomer Mark joined the Center for Lymphoma and Myeloma as a full-time clinician with a focus of clinical and translational research. Dr. Mark graduated from Yale University in 1998 and medical school at the State University at Stony Brook. He did his internal medicine residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, and completed his hematology and medical oncology fellowship at NYPH Weill Cornell Center in June 2008. He currently lives in Queens, NY, with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
