Bridgette Meinhold

Bridgette Meinhold is a freelance writer and artist based in Park City, UT, living in a small A-frame cabin in an aspen grove with her husband and dog. She has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford. Bridgette is the Architecture Editor for Inhabitat.com, where she writes about green design, architecture and sustainability. She is also a contributor for other eco and architecture-minded weblogs and magazines. Besides writing, Bridgette works as an encaustic painter out of her recycled shipping container studio where she works to capture and preserve memories. When she's not writing about sustainability or painting, Bridgette spends her time hiking, skiing, climbing and biking all over Utah.
