Ricardo Tobon

Ricardo Tobon is a filmmaker, CG artist, author and international lecturer. He works as a Lead Technical Animator and Motion Capture Specialist for Sony Computer Entertainment in projects that include Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception, The Last of Us, Infamous Festival of Blood and Sorcery among others. Ricardo's short films have participated in festivals around the world and he was a key player in the founding of the online motion capture resource MocapClub.com, he currently serves as the Chair for this project. Ricardo designed the Motion Capture, Software Technology and Art History courses for the Computer Animation Program at Full Sail University. He is also the author of “The Mocap Book: A Practical Guide to the Art of Motion Capture”. Mr. Tobon holds an M.F.A. in Computer Art from SCAD and is an active member of the prestigious Motion Capture Society.
