Curt Smith

Curt Smith was born and raised in the Midwest. He is an Army veteran with service in Korea and Vietnam. Since 1973 he and his wife have lived in the beautiful Greater Seattle area of Northwest Washington. He started writing for publication after his early retirement from GTE (now Verizon), first poetry and then articles for various professional journals and newspapers. In 2010 he began writing and self-publishing his books on CreateSpace.com. Topics include a variety of nonfiction, five novels, a daily reader, a compilation of blog articles and a book of poetry.

Curt is a respected teacher, facilitator, and consultant, who enjoys digital photography as well as writing. Additionally, he volunteers as a literacy tutor in the Bridges Center at Everett Community College.
