Joy A Hittner

Author Joy A. Hittner is a former teacher of elementary children, who spent close to thirty years in the field of education.

She draws on that experience with children and her love of nature to provide her with a rich context for her writing. Joy's books tend to focus on the connections we share with family and earth. Her characters demonstrate her own understanding of children and problems they may face growing up.

Joy's first three books, "The Scream", "Just Be", and "Summer With A Unicorn" are now available. Her forthcoming book, "Lap Cat" will be available soon.
