Mary Edwards

This last year has been a busy one that has allowed me to meet many talented and great fellow poets at poetry readings. I have also appreciated all the feedback from those who have purchased my book. I had not realized that my writing would elicit such comments as "comforting...inspiring" or those who tell me they have "connected deeply" with my words. I have been both humbled and affirmed by their responses.

Mary Edwards lives on a few acres in rural Missouri, with her husband. She cherishes her years spent caring for her family as a homemaker and time spent now with her family and friends. Besides writing, she also loves travel, swimming, and reading, as well many more interests. Even as a child, Mary found herself drawn to writing. Some of her writing has appeared in regional newspapers, poetry contests, and college publications. For Mary, writing has always been about connecting--within herself and with others. She is eager to share her thoughts with you now through Along the Way.
