Matthew Comfort

Matt Comfort (born in 1973) grew up in rural Upstate New York. In 1987 he moved to Altadena, California to attend High School at John Muir High, where he specialized in Music Theater and was a National Merit Scholar in 1991.

He spent 1994-1997 in the Navy as an active duty submariner aboard the USS Salt Lake City as a Nuclear Machinist's Mate Petty Officer 2nd Class (E-5).

He assisted in Mark O'Bannon's publication of Fantasy Imperium, doing extensive logistical and contract writing for Mark's company Shadowstar Games.

After an extended sabbatical, Matt has begun writing again in earnest. 6 chapters of "A Traitor's Gun" (which has been worked on for over 10 years now...) and several episodes of a new series, "The Venom of Fate", which is a Lovecraftian Horror Cycle, have been completed. Much more is expected of the Author and Father of three, and more is to come.
