I am J.W.Smith the Author of the 5 star novels "No Love Lost" and the coming soon, "Irresistible Woman" A father of three, a young man and two beautiful daughters. I was born and raised in Los Angeles California.I now Reside in the Dallas-Ft.Worth Metroplex. The years of incarceration that I endured without my kids, changed my train of thought and I begin my life long dream of being a well known author, on my plight to have the youth recognize, whats real. God has restored my life as if I never missed a beat. Thank you God for a second chance at a first life.

The life and journey of a man destined to succeed

I am Author J. W. Smith writer, inspirational speaker and motivator to all. I was born and raised in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, California. At a very young age, I was taught to survive by any means necessary or fall victim to the statistic of society In the early 80's when the crack epidemic hit, I lost my father's guidance and teachings to the drug cocaine and my virginity to the streets. With a lengthy sentence ahead of me and only a high-school diploma to fall back on, I diligently set out to write my first novel "No Love Lost", while the spirit of God provided the faith and the strength to conquer the obstacles I would soon face in doing so. After many years of incarceration both as a juvenile and an adult, I finally woke up and started taken responsibility for my own actions rather than continuing to search for blame in others. I am the proud father of three young adult two girl and my 23 year old young man, with the youngest graduating high school and set for Texas AM College this semester. The fact that I see my oldest daughter, who was in a tragic accident at the age of 16, paralyzed from the waist down and still exude the kind of determination that she does to walk again, gives me the motivation to fight harder in becoming a successful provider, entrepreneur and encouragement to all. The perseverance and dedication within allows me to find guidance in what booklovers anticipate. I am the C.E.O of Shinning Starr Publications with several Authors’ in the making on the roster. When I'm not writing I am enjoying a day of relaxation with the family or catching up on the political whoa's of the world. I am Author J.W Smith and leaving a legend to be remembered by is what I awake every morning with the anticipation of doing.
