Amin Khan

Amin Khan was born on October 18, 1956 in Algiers. He studied economics, political science and philosophy in Algiers, Paris and Oxford. During his professional career, he has been a teacher, diplomat and international civil servant.

He is the author of numerous publications. For the poetry book "Arabian blues", prefaced by René Depestre, Mld, 2012, he received the first prize of poetry Nikos Gatsos and the prize François Coppée of the Académie française.

Amin Khan directed the collective work "Présence de Tahar Djaout, poète", Barzakh, 2013, as well as five volumes of essays, "Nous autres, Éléments pour un manifeste de l’Algérie heureuse", Chihab, between 2016 and 2019.
