Emleigh Walsh

Once upon a time there lived a Princess named Emleigh. Emleigh lived in the magical land of Iowa. Emleigh grew up as the oldest sister to three younger brothers. While she spent a lot of time taking care of them she had plenty of time to daydream. She dreamed about once upon a times and happily ever after's. Inside Emleigh lived a musician, a doctor, a dancer, a photographer, a singer, and a writer. Even though she knew they lived within her she chose to keep them locked away, like a Princess in a tower. As she grew she looked at many paths to take her life down. The path she chose led her to the shiny tall buildings that reach to the sky in the city. She worked and lived in the city for many years still locking away those dreams that lived within her.

One day, while walking through the local grocery store, she met her Prince charming. They fell in love and had two beautiful children. All the while Emleigh kept her dreams locked away. Finally, Emleigh chose to earn her degree at the local university. After realizing she could keep her Prince charming and her two beautiful children and still travel down unknown paths, She Decided It Was Time to Unlock Some of Her Hidden Dreams. Making up her mind, she decided to begin writing and telling her stories. Being an obsessive reader, and remembering the joy of writing poetry, short stories and even one play about yet another princess made the choice very easy.

Today, Emleigh still lives in the magical land of Iowa, is still married to her prince charming, and still lives with her two beautiful children along with 4 cats and 3 fish. Since allowing one of her childhood dreams to come true her life has become more joyful and she lives happily ever after.
