The various versions one finds in all folklore and traditions surrounding the mystery of death has always fascinated Eva. Because of this, you will find zombies, vampires, ghosts and the denizens of Hell populating nearly all of her stories. In her stories, she seeks to probe into the primal instincts and fear that lies in wait in all of us, and seeks to encourage these notions to burn their way to the surface out of dark curiosity.
It's certainly not Eva's fault that these concepts have become an all encompassing obsession; she herself has had an encounter with death as a cancer survivor. Thankfully, she survived and lives to add more to the legends surrounding our fear of death.
Among Eva's influences, Anne Rice, Phillip K. Dick, Edgar Allen Poe, Mary Shelley, as well as H.P. Lovecraft can be listed as her favorites.
Eva is constantly seeking out the beauty and the inspiration of the supernatural that is present in Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Classic Literature. The elegant mystery that manifests in all aspects of the supernatural and the ever changing world of the unknown will always be a strong pull to her.
When not playing bass and singing vocals in a local Idaho band "Evil-Liza", Eva likes to dabble in the workings of dark fantasy, science fiction and horror. Ever since her preteens, she has penned ideas that allowed her a creative outlet for her obsession with words and imagination. She lives presently with her little family consisting of a plethora of cats as well as a loving husband and son.
