Cynthia Griffen Mitchell

Cynthia is a product of the New Hope Community (Graniteville, South Carolina). She is the daughter of Ernestine and the late Rev. George Hayward Griffin. The absolute joy of her life is being the mother of two exceptionally brilliant and beautiful children; Cierra and Darius.

Currently, Cynthia is a Community Engagement Practitioner working to expand the grassroots community capacity and she facilitates strategic engagement with local law enforcement and the communities they serve. Cynthia is an entrepreneur and a supporter of trauma awareness. In recent years, Cynthia has begun to work in agricultural spaces facilitating a USDA funded education and outreach initiative and connecting individuals with resources to assist with heirs property preservation.
