James Nicholas Adams

James lives in Utah with his wife Mary, their 3 daughters, and 3 cats. He enjoys spending time writing fantasy, primarily middle grade and young adult. He fell in love with writing as a junior in high school and learned he detested the limits teachers would put on him with writing projects, especially creative writing. He started spending more and more time developing characters and various worlds. Soon he found his first book, Chronicles of Myriad: Quest for the Oracle starting to come to life. He spent many, many years writing and watching the story grow bigger and bigger.

He completed the first draft in November of 2009 and spent the next year editing with the help of various friends and family. He still sees the world of Myriad growing each day as he prepares book 2 of Chronicles of Myriad for a 2023 release. Additionally, he has received personal mentorship from Richard Paul Evans, 43 times New York Times best selling author. Through that, he has found stronger abilities and a great friendship. Other stories have been written that James looks forward to sharing with the world in the future.

Along his journey, James learned about his super powers when he received his autism diagnosis. He hopes through his life and experiences he can bring more understanding, awareness, and acceptance of autistic individuals. James wants readers to find themselves in his characters and see that, even when it gets really hard, they too can achieve their dreams.

Outside of writing, he enjoys reading (mostly fantasy but will give anything a try). He watches a lot of movies and plays video games with his wife and oldest daughter. Anything and everything that brings inspiration. He also likes spending time with friends and family playing games and just chatting.
