Paola has had a lifelong interest in the influence of the mind over the body. This innate power was demonstrated to her in a very personal way when she was able through self-hypnosis to heal her own painful shoulder injury, which the medical profession had failed to cure. As a result of this she went on to study hypnotherapy and qualified in 2000. She set up her own business, Inner Power, that year to teach people how to tap into the often unused resources of the unconscious mind.

Paola was teaching biology in a sixth-form college at the time, but by 2004 she was seeing so many clients she had to make the difficult decision as to which career to continue with. She decided to leave teaching after 35 years to focus fully on helping people to heal themselves of emotional problems as well as of physical injuries. A great deal of her work is devoted to helping mums-to-be to have a wonderfully natural birth. Using her knowledge of biology and hypnotherapy, the very successful Inner Power Hypnobirthing technique was born.

Paola is also a practitioner of Reiki and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). She combines these with hypnotherapy to teach her clients life-long coping strategies to live happier and healthier lives.

Paola has now retired. She is an inspirational speaker and continues to give talks to sixth-form students in schools about relaxation techniques and how to cope with the stress of exams so that they can attain their full potential. She also continues to do training for Hypnotherapy Schools in her unique method of Inner Power Hypnobirthing. She helps people to change their lives for the better by taking control of what they wish to achieve.
