Robert Allen Morris

I was born in 1952, I'm married and have two adult sons. I am a Florida native and grew up in Macclenny, a small north Florida community. I am an agricultural economist by training, and my favorite hobbies are hunting, and shooting sporting clays. I spent most of my career working for large companies, first as an economist, then in middle and finally senior management. These companies included Duda, a company with agricultural operations in Florida, Texas, California, and Australia when I worked there; The Coca-Cola Company; Tropicana Products; Cutrale, one of the world's largest citrus processors, growers and exporters, based in Araraquara, Brazil; and Prudential Agricultural Investments. In 2007 I joined the faculty of the University of Florida in the Food and Resource Economics Department, and I'm stationed at the UF Citrus Research and Education Center in Lake Alfred. My current responsibilities include both educational programs and research. So I guess I'm part farmer, economist, business manager and academic.
