Neil Sagebiel is the author of three books:

THE LONGEST SHOT: Jack Fleck, Ben Hogan, and Pro Golf's Greatest Upset at the 1955 U.S. Open. THE LONGEST SHOT was named one of the Top 10 Sports Books of 2012 by Booklist.

DRAW IN THE DUNES: The 1969 Ryder Cup and the Finish That Shocked the World. DRAW IN THE DUNES was nominated for the United States Golf Association's Herbert Warren Wind Book Award.

HO! HO! HO!: The Life and Legend of the Jolly Green Giant.

He also is the author of two publications on Substack: The 1937 Flood Journal and FRIED BOLOGNA.

He lives in Virginia.
