Abby Sasscer

Abby Sasscer was born in the Philippines and came to the United States in 1986. She is a wife, homeschooling mother, author, speaker and founder of Project Nazareth, a ministry that inspires families to live in a spirit of simplicity and holy detachment. In 2004, her entire family moved to a cottage in the hills in order to practice voluntary simplicity. In 2009, she wrote "Simplifying Your Domestic Church", a spiritual e-journal to help declutter, organize and simplify one's home life. In 2012, she released her first children's book "Sophie's Stuff" which teaches little ones how to detach from their things and share with others. Abby hopes that more families learn to live simply and generously even if the world says otherwise. She wants families to truly discover that less is more and that a simple life is a happy life.
