Kenneth Wash

Ken Wash lives in St. Louis, Mo. He is a Retired Chief Warrant Officer FiveArmy who has served over 42 years in Active Army and Army Reserve in the Ordnance branch as a 915E Senior Logistician.

Mr. Wash has worked in the civilian automotive repair industry for over 30 years as an ASE Certified Master Technician, publishing numerous technical investigative reports as a professional technical writer, subject matter expert and mechanical claims witness for major insurance companies in the areas of automotive forensic investigations of fraud and theft.

Mr. Wash has been writing, both as a hobby and as a member of the US Army Reserve Communications team from 2012 through 2014, as well as writing and producing short stories, white papers, and other technical documents for military publications. As an ASE certified automotive technician, Mr. Wash investigated auto theft and fire incidents, becoming a professional technical advisor and witness for cases of fraudulent auto theft and fire cases. Throughout his tenure as an Army Warrant Officer, Mr. Wash also directed, produced and edited military videos and keynote presentations for high visibility military staff functions.

Ken Wash's first novel, the final defense, was inspired by personnel and actions throughout his broad carrera as a member of the military. His books are a mixture of historical and technical data, creating true to life characters and drama.
