Tucker Reed is an award-winning fiction and nonfiction writer. Her first novel, AMBER HOUSE, was well received by critics. Its sequel, NEVERWAS, was released to similar critical acclaim in 2014. Reed will contribute to forthcoming sequels EVER SHALL and OTHERWHEN.
Reed is also a notable activist writer regarding violence and bullying in schools and has appeared on CNN, CBS, ABC and HuffPost Live. She was profiled in the likes of TIME Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, Ms. Magazine, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and The Guardian, and contributed writings to The Washington Post, The Huffington Post and Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was awarded the Lucy Burns Challenger Award at the 2013 Veteran Feminists of America anniversary gala in Los Angeles for her activist work. A memoir was purchased at auction by Penguin Random House in 2015.
