Gerald Sharpe

Gerald Sharpe discovered the gift of writing as an adult. He is the author of the "What Lies Beneath Bed" series of Young Adult Fiction novels, which has readers ranging in age from 7 to 64. The "What Lies Beneath The Bed" series have opened doors for school visitations, where he has challenged the students to read, write and chase their dreams. Growing up as a non-reader has allowed Gerald to reach students who struggle with reading. Many young boys and girls have picked up the series as their first reads. Gerald's passion is to see his readers chase their dreams, knowing nothing is impossible to the one who believes. Through his writing, he desires to inspire faith, hope and courage to his readers. "Tommy's Tales" and "Parade of Lights" are the first two of seven in the series. "Pirates of the Sea," book 3, is still in the works. Gerald's journey as an author has taught him a valuable lesson - God's timing is always perfect.
