Susan Carnes

A dairyman’s daughter from the shores of Great Lake Superior, Susan Carnes now lives by the waters of the Pacific, inspired by and constantly seeking to communicate the human condition and nature’s sublime power, solace, and spirit. She has counseled and taught people of all ages in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Oregon, and Washington. Always after the “unforgettable,”her stories and paintings are of common people at work, at play, and sometimes immersed in a meaningful moment.
