Born in Warren, OH, I spent my formative years in Phoenix, AZ culminating in a move to CA in 1987. In 2010 I graduated Cum Laude from Regis University's College For Professional Studies with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance. For-Profits vs. Non-Profits: The Battle For Homeless Families, my first treatise, is a result of my passion for doing good by doing well. On the one-hand, I deride non-profit's forsaking their primary responsibility and in the process losing the public trust. On the other-hand, I firmly believe that capitalism in general and Real Estate Investment Trusts specifically is a powerful and transparent tool to be utilized in combatting family homelessness while securing the public trust.
