Janet Reid

Janet Reid grew up on a dairy farm in Queensland, Australia, and spent many hours making up and acting out stories instead of doing her chores. Later, she became a primary school teacher, working in many different areas in Queensland. Now she likes to use her experiences in the classroom to write for children. Her fascination with Arabian folklore inspired her to write the first book of her Ruby Bottle series.
