Janet Jackson Crawford

Having captured 80 years of life, Janet Jackson Crawford must admit her obsessions: travel, horses, dogs, collecting sand for her paintings and haggling in Morocco for yet another carpet. She also collected an incredible mate and whelped out five exceptional children who in turn produced eleven extraordinary grandchildren. She competed with dogs and horses for many years while practicing veterinary medicine and professionally belly-dancing. Her rich life included races in rodeos, travel to fifty-five countries, sleeping in the sands of the Sahara and Namibia, riding camels, horses or donkeys and scrambling up Bulgarian, Moroccan, Oregon and Borneo mountains.
