Jose Maria Cal was brought up in Valencia, Spain. At the age of nineteen left to study several years at the Psychology and Economy Universities. Not satisfied it changed his studies into the Industrial Design Career. During many years he was working as Automotiv Design Engineer. In that time he was living during one year in Leamington, England, working for Land Rover and Jaguar companies. After this long period, he opened the Harris Restaurant in Sagunto beach, being the owner and chef. At the same time this multifaceted author, is painter, drawer, saltwater fisherman, astrology expert and of course, writer.

He began his writing career 12 years ago. As an author he has two saltwater fishing books, published by Tutor. Now he is writing with RC Ediciones publisher, in english and spanish.
