Erin OConnell

Hood River, Oregon resident, Erin O'Connell has long been an outdoor enthusiast with a love for the mountains and forests of Pacific Northwest. Erin was particularly captivated by the Legend of the Columbia River Gorge, which her Aunt relayed to her at a young age. Later, over a period of many years, she developed the idea to create an illustrated children's story that could be more-easily shared with children in the Pacific Northwest.

Erin holds an MBA from the University of Oregon, and Marketing and Advertising degrees from Michigan State University. She is an active supporter of land conservation efforts in the region. Loowit's Legend is Erin's first children's book.
