Carol Gracie

Carol Gracie has always had an interest in the natural world and has worked for both The Nature Conservancy and The New York Botanical Garden. Carol's current interest is wildflowers, both locally and wherever she travels. She is most interested in the role of wildflowers in their environment and especially the relationships between the plants and their pollinators and seed dispersers. She enjoys sharing this knowledge with others through her books, lectures, and guided walks.

After two decades of botanical exploration and travel in the tropical regions of South and Central America, Carol has now focused her attention on the flora of her local area, the northeastern U.S.
