Blakeslee

My name is Carolyn Blakeslee, although four people who walk the planet call me "Mom." I'm a food and wine writer, gardening columnist, magazine publisher, book editor and publisher, artist, musician, horsewoman, and wine geek, as well as a fan of musical theatre, opera, classical music, the ocean, and joy.

My first magazine, "Art Calendar," was founded in 1986 and since 2006 has been published by an Orlando company; it is now titled "Professional Artist." In my role as publisher of "Natural Awakenings" Magazine since 2008, I've enjoyed learning about homeopathy and other forms of natural medicine, as well as sustainable/green practices.
