Theron Muller

A resident of Japan since 2000, I'm an Associate Professor at the University of Toyama. My academic research interests include academic literacies research, writing for publication research, and more generally second language acquisition research (SLA). In SLA I've investigated writing fluency, task-based language learning and student agency. I'm particularly interested in issues of access to publication for scholars residing outside anglophone contexts and in study of regional variation in scholarly publication practices.
