Phillip Wicklund

My passion? Leadership. It sounds simplistic, or worse, cliché - but for me, the passion runs deep and no other word hits closer to the mark. I love leadership because I love casting a vision for a better future; a future of personal growth, betterment of the human condition, ways to create future value for companies, and a future of shared accomplishment with my teammates. A future along these points is one worth fighting for, and I've never been afraid to take the path of maximum resistance to make a goal a reality.

My leadership has been demonstrated through the leading/managing of countless large-scale, enterprise projects as a project manager and/or technical lead. I also have experience managing a staff of 36+ consultants. Additionally, I've been blessed to have had countless opportunities to interface with and advise CXO-level customers on creating value for their companies.

I have also written three books (cloud computing, enterprise collaboration, and digital marketing solutions). Why do I write? Because teaching is my #2 passion. I love the feeling at the end of a day when I've been able to apply my expertise to help someone in need.

Lastly, I am currently in my 3rd year of Doctoral studies at the University of St. Thomas. Learning, you could say, is my #3 passion. I am working to extend my studies in technology and business by deepening my understanding of Organizational Leadership, working toward a dissertation that combines the three disciplines.
