Mark Dexter

Mark Dexter started writing software in the 1970's. In 1981, he co-founded a successful commercial software company that develops software for construction companies. In 2007 Mark left the world of commercial software to devote his efforts to open-source software projects. He started working with Joomla! in 2008 and joined the project leadership in 2009.

Mark Dexter is a member of the Joomla Production Leadership Team and Coordinator of the Joomla Bug Squad. Mark has extensive experience with the Joomla forums and the documentation Wiki. He was the administrator for Joomla's Google Summer of Code in 2009. He has also written several Joomla extensions and contributed code and features to various Joomla versions.

Mark is an avid cyclist and hiker and an electric car enthusiast. He lives with his wife in Seattle, Washington.
