Ginger LaGrone Tucker

Ginger Tucker’s experience as an educator includes her years as a high school classroom teacher and department chair. Following her classroom experience, she worked as a curriculum specialist and Title I Coordinator at a regional education service center, and then as Executive Director of Curriculum and Professional Development for a school district. From 1996 to 2018 she has owned her own consulting company, training school, business, and church personnel. Ginger has served on the board of the Texas Staff Development Council and presented at local, state, and national conferences. Ginger’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in history and English education from Hardin Simmons University, a master’s degree in history and geography from West Texas A&M University, and an administrator certification from WTAMU. Her educational works include The Heart of a Teacher, Helping New Teachers Succeed: Mentor and Coaching Notebook, Teacher’s Handbook: Foundations for Effective Classrooms, and First Year Teacher Notebook.

Her devotional books include Dancing on Daddy’s Feet and Other Stories of God's Love with accompanying workbook.

Ginger's Tapestry of Promise Bible Studies include Fruitful: An In-depth study of the Fruit of the Spirit; One Story-His Story; Prayer Matters; Great Cloud of Witnesses: Character Studies; and Knowing our Awesome God by Name.

Ginger’s family is her priority. In addition to writing, she also enjoys quilting, cooking and entertaining, teaching at her church.
