Bruce I. Bustard

I am a historian and retired museum curator. During my thirty-one years working at the National Archives and Records Administration I developed many major exhibitions and wrote the exhibit scripts and the accompanying catalogs. After my retirement, I decided to try my hand at writing historical fiction. My current project is a novel inspired by my father’s World War II experience as a company commander with a tank battalion in Europe, and by his wartime letters to my mother. I am also editing and annotating my dad’s letters for publication.
