Mike is the author of the Civil War Chronicles, The Savage Isle series, the Highwayman trilogy and the crime thriller, Corpse Thief.

He lives in Hampshire with his wife, four kids, three cats and several noisy guinea pigs.

Mike’s books have twice been selected in The Sunday Times “Historical Novels of the Year”, and his acclaimed English Civil War series (Stryker) is set to make its long-awaited return in 2026.
