Nina Impala is a professional educator in the hospice field and has worked with the dying for 14 years, volunteering her time in patient care. She has recruited, trained and mentored volunteers while also providing direct bereavement care. Certified by the American Academy of Bereavement for Spiritual Facilitation for the Terminally Ill, Nina also holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Services and is the author of the book, Dearly Departed: Uplifting Stories of a Hospice Volunteer.
Nina’s years of experience as a spiritual healer and intuitive counselor have given her a unique insight into the process of transition, allowing her, in many instances, to connect with her clients on both sides of the veil. Nina lectures and teaches about the phases of grief with understanding and respect for the uniqueness of every situation. Her practice, Tutoring for the Spirit, offers help and information for people going through major transitions in life, such as the death of loved ones or loss of relationships.
