Sam Lenton

Sam Lenton (1984-) was born in Norwich and now works in High Wycombe as Head of English at an independent boarding school for girls. He has published two novels and has a successful track record of taking scripts to the stage. His play 'Radically Traditional' was selected as an ADC main show in Cambridge in 2004 (where he studied for a degree in English), running for five nights, whilst his first collection of monologues, 'It was the tree's fault', was released in December 2011. The script of his Nativity play, 'Who's the baby?', which has been performed in venues across Southampton, is now also available to read on Kindle, with the follow-up Easter play, 'What happened to the baby?' available upon request.

His debut novel, 'Accidental Crime', was released in May 2012. In January 2014, Sam released his second novel, 'A Right to Know', a gripping thriller loosely based on the phone hacking scandal.

'The poor player', released in November 2021, is his first full poetry collection in twenty years.
