Roger Medley

Serving in the U.S. Air Force while stationed in northern Michigan in the 1980’s, Roger received my first recurve bow. When offered to trade a recurve bow for a flying lesson, he agreed. At the time Roger didn’t know just how much of a blessing the trade would turn out to be. That bow is long gone now, but the passion has not dwindled. Since, Roger has had the privilege to bow hunt in many states across the nation.

Roger also had the privilege of being a contributing author to Jay Houston's second book, Elk Hunting 201. A popular speaker at Wild Game Dinners, Men's Retreats and seminars around the country in such places as Sportsman's Warehouse, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's.

As a former Pastor, it was a natural fit to accept the position as the director of an outdoor/hunting ministry - High Country Ministries. The parallels of archery and life provide wonderful insights for living. The desire to see others grow drove Roger to become an NAA certified instructor and he can be found at local hunting shops promoting the sport of archery and bowhunting while instructing students on proper shooting form and giving out advice on proven hunting secrets and techniques.
