Kenny Jackson

Kenny Jackson was born and raised in the United States, near Washington D.C. He became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 17, after observing how faith in Jesus completely transformed his father, who was radically set free from an addiction to gambling.

At age 19, Kenny joined Youth With A Mission, eventually making YWAM Hong Kong his home mission base from 1983 to 1992. During those years of ministry in and around Hong Kong, Kenny married fellow YWAMer, Maria, who is from Seoul, South Korea. Kenny and Maria's cross-cultural marriage of 28-years has ministered to thousands as they have travelled to more than 30 nations together, and over 40 nations individually.

Eventually, Kenny's gifts and calling to the arts developed into a passion for film and television production. After earning a Master's degree at Regent University's School of Cinema, Television, and Theatre Arts, Kenny began working professionally, producing and directing evangelistic television movies for The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN.) He also worked as a freelance Field Producer for New Dominion Pictures (a company contracted with The Discovery Channel to produce FBI FILES and NEW DETECTIVES series.) The films Kenny produced on location in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, India, and England have all won awards in international film competitions.

Kenny has served on the Board of International Christian Visual Media (ICVM), an organization whose recent membership includes the makers of such well-known films as COURAGEOUS and FIREPROOF, as well as the Producers of LIKE DANDELION DUST, starring Academy Award-winning actress Mira Sorvino.

For six-years Kenny served as the International Dean of the College of Communication for YWAM's University of The Nations.

Today, Kenny and Maria reside in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, alongwith their three children, David, Mia, and Micah, ages 22, 19, and 17., respectively. Kenny speaks internationally on the topic of sexuality and relationships.
