Lawrence D. Elliott

From special education student to published author.

Lawrence D. Elliott is an author, Amazon #1 Best Seller, and has contributed to the bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul book series.

He's also contributed to the Pulitzer Prize-winning HuffPost and featured in print, radio, and television media outlets.

He lives a life he never dream could have become a reality. It almost didn’t.

At thirteen, he landed in a special education class. His reading level Walking into that separate bungalow building nearly broke him.

He hated it almost as much as he hated himself.

As his teacher worked with him to improve his reading skills, together, they discovered he could write. At that moment, he knew what he wanted to be. A writer.

But it wasn’t until he had a close call with death that it became possible.

It was a pulmonary embolism. A blood clot in the lungs. Left untreated, it's fatal. Too often, they go undetected until the autopsy.

This nearly ended his journey.

But Lawrence survived. He had unfinished business. He has more stories to share.

Since this rebirth, he's published words in some of the most popular publications and books in publishing.

But wait. There's more to come.

Lawrence has lived in Germany for over six years and still speaks the German language. He currently lives in his native San Diego, California.

His journey continues. Want to come along?
