Dr. Stacy Reaves received her Ph.D from Oklahoma State University.Currently she is an adjunct professor of history and geography at Tulsa Community College and a museum consultant. With a bachelor's degree in historic preservation, she has served as a museum director at Sand Springs Cultural and Historical Museum, museum curator at Sapulpa Historical Society and museum technician at Fort Sill Museum. Reaves has worked as a seasonal park interpretive ranger at Shiloh National Military Park and Fort Larned National Historic Site. Dr. Reaves' writings have appeared in the Chronicles of Oklahoma, North and South Magazine, The Journal of the West, and the Journal of Military History.
