Eldon Brown

Eldon Brown spent his first two years in Western MA. His family moved to Rutherford, NJ where his family doctor was none other than poet William Carlos Williams. His sister is active in "Ancestors" and found a link to Nathaniel Hawthorne. Other literary connections include Robert Jordan, Patrick Conroy and Stephen King. With such a literary heritage how can he miss?

Prior to writing his first book (Controlled Crash,An Airline Odyssey from Eels and Ethics to Blimps and Drunken Bears, which received an Editors Choice award,he worked in the Airline Industry. His marketing career took him to postings in New York, Kingston, Jamaica, Washington, DC, Miami and Los Angeles.

Brown's first novel was published in 2013. A Devil in The Drone is an international thriller with the action taking place in Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Venezuela and Jamaica. An American scientist has developed a program which allows him to take command of an in-flight drone. He is missing and the CIA fears he has been kidnapped.Their mission is to find him.

Brown's next book is "Dead Girl in a Charleston Marsh.". The action takes place in Charleston, SC and Mainz, Germany. Harriet Bennett retires from CIA and moves to Charleston. She is an avid kayaker. Harriet's crab ravaged body is found in the Ashley river. Police feel it was just a tragic boating accident. CIA wants to know for sure.

Brown's 2015 novel is "Miyuki, Harvard Girl." Romance is a new genre for this author. The action (and there is lots of action) takes place at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA and in Japan. There is the usual boy meets girl, but so much more.
