Kenneth Lynch

Ken Lynch was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1958 the day before the first parking meters were installed in Britain, but before Alaska and Hawaii became states. Escaping to the nearby town of Stratford, he was soon joined by three brothers, a sister, and an endless parade of German Shepherds, all inexplicably named 'Duke.' After moving further inland to Wallingford, where the family obtained cable television, Ken finished high school and went on to enlist in the U.S. Navy upon graduation. He remained in the Navy for 27 years, inspired as he was to serve his country and completely clueless as to how he wanted to spend the rest of his life. Ken retired as an officer and ultimately became a resident of Dublin, Pennsylvania. Following retirement, Ken became a substitute teacher, Teachers Assistant, and finally a custodian. Growing tired of cleaning toilets, he retired (again) in August, 2020 and relocated to Virginia Beach. He's been writing pretty much as he did when he actually had a job. But, hey, zero stress.
