Ashley Day

Pastor Ashley Day was born in Welling, England in 1928, but spent much of his boyhood in Berkshire. He began his career as the Administrator of a school of languages in London and was called into the ministry at a Billy Graham Crusade at Haringay Arena in 1954. Eager to begin preaching, he became a circuit preacher in rural England and then, in 1959, he and his family immigrated to the United States. During the next sixteen years Ashley pastored three churches in Oregon before being called back to England to minister in a church in Devon. In 1980, he was invited back to the USA to become the pastor of the Coeur d'Alene Bible Church in Idaho, where he served for 23 years.

Ashley retired from the Pastoral ministry in 2003, but during the following 11 years, he focused upon Seed-Time Ministries and his weekly radio broadcasts; which are heard throughout Africa and Ireland and are carried by many local stations in the United States. Getting messages into book form was another focus of his retirement and he published twelve Bible commentaries plus an autobiography. His recently updated website www.seedtime.net provides links to his audio messages.

He and his wife, Edna, were married 61 years, have five children and 6 grandchildren. Ashley died March 29th 2014 and was ushered into the Lord's presence 3 months after receiving the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
