Mary Swick

I attended Wayne State College, in Wayne, Nebraska, where I met and fell in love with my husband, Ryan. We were married in 2007 and blessed with two boys, Riley and Jacob; while I was in the process of acquiring my elementary education degree. I graduated from WSC in December 2009. Ryan and I were then blessed with another little boy, Justin, in May 2011. I am now a stay-at-home-mom and work for Stolzman Photography, as an assistant photo editor. I love more than anything spending time with my family, playing with my kids, editing already beautiful photos, and writing in Justin's Jesus Blog. The support that our family has received from the Alden/Iowa Falls communities, our First Christian Church family, and our family and friends near and far, has surpassed and exceeded anything we could have ever imagined. We have been so blessed to have such an amazing support system.

We now reside in Alden, Iowa. A little town located in North Central Iowa. On May 14th, 2011 my husband, Ryan, and I were blessed with our third beautiful baby boy. On August 11th, 2011 the angels decided he was too precious to endure the heartache and troubles this world can bring, and called him home to be with Jesus. The days following Justin's passing our oldest son, Riley (then 3 years old), started telling us stories about the angel that took Justin to Jesus, and how Jesus put the blanket over Justin's eyes after he passed away of SIDS. In the past five months God really has shown us how he can, "Turn a Mess, into a Message, a Test into a Testimony, a Trial into a Triumph, and a Victim into a Victory." Our book Justin's Jesus is our message to others that even while in pain, you can find peace, it's our testimony of how great out Lord and Savior is and how through this trial in our lives he still triumphs and continues to carry us through this season of our lives.
