Flynn Connolly’s first novel, "The Rising of the Moon," was published by Del Rey in 1993 and was nominated for a Nebula; the James Tiptree, Jr., award; and a Locus award for Best First Novel. She has her own copyediting business, editing journals in fields as diverse as linguistics, international marketing, bilingual education, women and aging, Slavic military history, and academic libraries, which keeps her busy—sometimes way too busy to write!
Flynn lives north of Seattle with Ciarán and Clancy and wishes she were in Ireland.
