Hi, I'm Stuart F. Griffin, a Christian author and a bit of a storyteller. A native of California, I spent the first 18 years of my life in the Los Angeles area. After proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force I traveled throughout Europe and the United States. My travels fanned my lifelong love of history, particularly American history, the great move west and the days of the mountain men. My traveling days were suspended for a number of years while I lived, work and played in the beautiful state of Vermont with my family and friends.
Growing up in California provided me with the perfect opportunity to explore the North West which I fell in love with. As such, I set the scene of my first book, an 1853 western entitled "Northbound," in Northern California - specifically Marysville, Yreka and the old Applegate trail. This historically-based novel is a suspenseful, yet heartwarming story of a couple's faith in each other and in the Lord Jesus. The sequel "The Territory," which can now be found on Amazon also. The Territory is the continuing story of the Tanger family which is a action packed family story of life. I hope you enjoy both of these works of historical fiction. Thank for your time Stuart Griffin.
