The Cornerstone of Deception is the product of a lifetime passion. The romance threads are fictional but most of the drama is factual.

For many years, I have been fascinated with biblical chronology. Searching every resource for why scholars rendered the Biblical timeline defunct led me to a cuneiform inscription that was discovered by Henry Rawlinson and George Smith -- the "cornerstone" of Near Eastern history.

While studying archaeology at university, I realized that these early archaeologists possessed all of the characteristics of forgers. A family friend suggested that I rewrite my research as a historical mystery novel. It has been such an amazing experience!

I hold a Bachelor's degree in history with a minor in religious studies, and a Master's in Education. I have studied ancient Greek, Biblical Hebrew and ancient numismatics. With multiple teaching certifications, I teach at a charter school for highly disruptive, at-risk students.
