Hi, I’m Carrie. And, I’m an everyday wife and mom.

I am just an “ordinary” mom with a heart for my husband, my children, and my extraordinary God. I am seeing that through His Word, God is together growing our appetites for Him.

Although I’ve been a longtime follower of Jesus and an active church member, I always struggled with reading the Bible daily. I would start fresh, only to fail again. But through God’s loving providence, I went from an inconsistent devotional life to a regular time of reading and meditating on Scripture.

How? Well, it wasn’t me! God used my children. In the company of these lively, happy little people, God took a discipline that had been a struggle for me and made it an immeasurable joy.
