Ellen Luckett Baker

Ellen Luckett Baker is a sewing book author, blogger and fabric designer living in Atlanta, Georgia. Though always interested in art and design, she didn't begin her adventures in sewing until after her first child was born. Her blog, The Long Thread, which features sewing tutorials and crafty projects made with her daughters, receives over 100,000 unique visitors monthly. Her sewing and craft projects have been featured in numerous publications and websites. She holds an M.P.A. with a focus in Non-Profit Management and a B.A. in Art History.

Her first book, 1, 2, 3 Sew, won a Gold Award in the How-To/Crafts category from the PubWest Book Design Awards.
