Douglas Jones

Douglas W. Jones has served on the computer science faculty of the University of Iowa since 1980. In late 1994, he volunteered to serve on the Iowa Board of Examiners for Voting Machines and Electronic Voting Systems, where he served for a decade, including several years as chair. His involvement in voting system evaluation has included work as an international election observer, consulting, and fundamental research.

Jones also served as technical consultant on the Emmy-nominated HBO documentary film, Hacking Democracy, earning a brief entry in IMDB, and he has written several short science fiction stories for the Grantville Gazette, earning a brief entry in ISFDB.
